ReplyDeleteI am unashamedly an “80s throwback”.. people laugh gently; smile pityingly; nod in agreement; and occasionally say “fair play.. you know your stuff” when I mention some random unknown gem from the decade that I love the most.
Suddenly there is a place for me. A space for me… two hours every Sunday where I know I’m not deluded or going mad. That place I can hear the songs that I thought only I could remember and appreciate.
If you could see your way getting either of these on the playlist then you would make a “not-really-all that-old” lady very happy.
“No More Tears” – Hollywood Beyond
“Shellshock” – New Order
Now.. time for me to head off to Mixcloud and listen all over again.
